Bindi Irwin should add one more thing to her resume: dancer!
Last week, on the Dancing With The Stars premiere episode, seventeen-year-old Bindi paid tribute to her late father, Steve Irwin. She and her partner, Derek Hough's jive to "Crocodile Rock" earned the highest points of the night.
Week two, which was themed "Hometown Glory", payed tribute to the celebrities' hometowns. Bindi famously grew up in Australia with dad Steve, mom Terri and little brother Robert. She and Derek danced a tango to Steve's favorite song, "You Shook Me All Night Long". Dressed in black and glitter, Bindi rocked out to the AC/DC tune.
The song is clearly meaningful to Bindi. After the performance, she was misty-eyed and recalled a special moment with her father.
"I remember when I was really little, dancing to that song with dad. It means everything to me."
She proved she is a contender in the competition and a versatile one at that. Judge Julianne Hough called her, "a fiery, feisty little rock star."
The pair earned the highest points of the night again, with a 25/30.
