It is clear that Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton have a great time together.

Throughout their many years as a dynamic duo, the two have made many memories together. In the video below, Kenny relives one of those memories with a hilarious story!

During a recent performance at Dollywood, Kenny told the story of the pair's recording of their newest duet, "You Can't Make Old Friends". He told the crowd that while in the recording studio, he got choked up while singing the emotional song to his best friend.

To comfort Kenny, Dolly came up behind him and gave him a big hug. But instead of comforting him with kind words, Dolly told Kenny that she could never sing at his funeral. He laughed and responded, "I guess that means I'm going first?!"

Kenny laughed with the crowd and explained that, in that moment, that was classic Dolly. He said,

That’s what so great about Dolly. You know where you are with her at all times. She has no filter. If it goes in her mind, it comes out of her mouth. And that’s what makes her special. She has become the Donald Trump of country music.

The crowd couldn't contain their laughter! Did Kenny really compare Dolly Parton to Donald Trump?!

Watch the hilarious moment below, followed by a performance of the heart-wrenching song, "You Can't Make Old Friends."

LYRICS BELOW

What will I do when you are gone?
Who's gonna tell me the truth?
Who's gonna finish the stories I start,
The way you always do?

When somebody knocks at the door,
Someone new walks in.
I will smile and shake their hands,
but you can't make old friends.

You can't make old friends
Can't make old friends
It was you and me, since way back when.
But you can't make old friends.

How will I sing when you are gone?
Cause it wont sound the same.
Who will join in on those harmony parts,
When I call your name?

You can't make old friends
Can't make old friends
It was you and me, since way back when.
But you can't make old friends.

When Saint Peter opens the gate,
And you come walking in.
I will be there just waiting for you.
Cause you can't make old friends
Cause you can't make old friends.

When I am out on the stage all alone
And I hear the music begin.
We all know the show must go on.
But you can't make old friends.

You can't make old friends.
Can't make old friends
And you and me, will be young again.
You can't make old friends.

You and me, will be together again.
Cause we both know, we will still be old friends.

You can't make old friends
Not the way we have always been.
