Rogers and Evans often starred together in various Western movies, but beyond that, the two of them were also husband and wife. They couple was married in 1947, and were together until Rogers' death in 1998.
One of their sweetest duets occurs during a scene in the 1946 movie Under Nevada Skies. In the film, Evans' character Gabby works in a clock repair shop. It is the clock repair shop that serves as the setting for their romantic duet "Anytime That I'm With You."
As the clocks tick in the background, Rogers and Evans sing along to their rhythm. They walk around the shop, exchanging affectionate glances with one another the whole way through.
Then partway through the song, Rogers mentions how people also sing the song in Mexico, and that they do so quite well. This prompts Rogers to grab a guitar and play while him and Evans sing another part of the song, but this time in Spanish.
This duet not only shows Rogers and Evan's incredible talent as performers, but how strong the connection between the two of them was.
