Dustin Christensen started out his journey on The Voice as a member of Team Blake. When it came time for the battle rounds, Blake Shelton paired Christensen with country-soul singer Barrett Baber for a performance of the Lonestar song "Walking In Memphis."
For this week's knockout rounds on The Voice, Levine paired Christensen up with Keith Semple, who sang the Foreigner hit "I Want To Know What Love Is."
Christensen chose to sing the Zac Brown Band song "Free" for his knockout round, a song that really showed off his talent at singing low notes.
"Free" appeared on the Zac Brown Band's 2008 album The Foundation, and was released in 2010 as the fifth single off of the album. The song claimed the number one spot on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs chart and climbed up to the 34th spot on the U.S. Billboard Top 100.
Christensen left a great impression on the coaches with his rendition of the song, with coach Gwen Stefani looking fully engaged in the performance and Levine nodding his head along.
Although Christensen's performance was certainly amazing, when it came down to it, Levine ended up choosing Temple as the winner of the knockout instead.
None of the other coaches stepped up to steal Christensen, so he unfortunately had to go home.

Some good news for Christensen's fans...he has said on his Twitter that he plans on recording new music soon, so be on the lookout for that!
