George Jones pioneered that "classic country" sound that we all know and love. He is a true country legend that can never be replaced, or forgotten. Years after his start, Randy Travis came along to keep classic country alive and is still honoring his memory today.
The official George Jones Facebook page shared a couple photos of Randy's last minute visit to The George Jones Museum. Randy and his wife Mary stopped by to visit the Nashville landmark to reflect on past memories. We are happy to see Randy smiling!
Wife, Nancy Jones opened the museum in early 2015. She kept nearly ever artifact from her husband's career and wanted to share his piece of history with fans. The museum is a popular attraction for all music lovers and fans - keeping the spirit of George Jones alive.
Watch the classic performance of George and Randy singing, "Good Ole Country Boys" below.
