Gwen Stefani is not a shy woman.
In an interview with Dallas Fort Worth's radio station 103.7 KVIL, Stefani sat down with co-hosts Leigh Ann & Courtney Kerr and spoke about her newly-announced relationship with Blake Shelton.
"He's a pretty rad guy, I have to say that," she says.
When asked about making their relationship public, Stefani says, "We didn't! Like, somebody did. That's what's so crazy like, who announces that? Why would I do that?"
Right before the CMAs, a rep for Stefani announced, "Gwen and Blake are longtime friends who have very recently started dating."
Both singers, who went through divorces this summer have helped each other through this emotional time. "There's definitely key people that have pointed me into the right direction," she says. "Blake really helped me."
Leigh Ann and Courtney also asked her if she preferred Southern men over British men. "Oh, that's such a funny question! Let's see, I would say if I had to choose, Southern."
Big surprise there, since her ex-husband is British and her current boyfriend is from the South.
Sources also said that they were writing a song together, but Stefani squashed that rumor, with a "NO!"
The interview will be aired on Monday, November 9th at 4pm.
