Like many people around the world, Charlie Daniels is heartbroken over the tragedy in Paris, and like some others, he's a little bit angry as well.

After at least 129 people were killed in terrorist attacks in Paris on Friday, Daniels shared a message on his Facebook page to show his support for all those affected.

Three days later, Daniels took to his website to further express his sympathies, and to share his views on how America should react to the crisis in a blog post called "Now Or Never Time In America."

"What happened in Paris is the one we've been fearing, not an attack on government buildings or a military facility, but a mass attack on society at large, people eating dinner, attending a concert or a sporting event, folks just carrying on the everyday business of living their lives."

Daniels says that he fears that what happened in Paris could also happen in America sometime soon.

"Folks, I think Paris is just a prototype, a field test, and a harbinger of bigger things planned and already on the drawing board," he says.

Since Daniels believes that ISIS, the group claiming responsibility for the Paris attacks, is in the U.S. as well, he says it's important that the country take action against them in order to keep its citizens safe.

"America, if we don't face the fact that we have terrorists living among us, and if we don't get some people in office with the determination and the gonads to dig them out and jail or destroy them, there will be chaos on the streets on a scale we don't even want to think about."

Daniels goes on to list what he thinks some good precautions could be, including closing down the borders and taking some military action.

But at the end of it all, Daniels' message goes back to a peaceful tone, as he asks his fans to please send in their prayers.

"Pray for our troops and the peace of Jerusalem," he says. "God Bless America."

Daniels has always been proud to express his love for America, performing several patriotic-themed songs, including his hit 1980 single "In America." The official music video for the song was released 21 years later, following the September 11 attacks.

What do you think? Do you agree with what Daniels has to say about how America should react to the Paris attacks?

LYRICS BELOW

Well the eagle's been flyin' slow
And the flag's been flyin' low
And a lot of people sayin' that America's fixin' to fall
Well speakin' just for me
And some people from Tennessee
We've got a thing or two to tell you all
This lady may have stumbled
But she ain't never fell
And if the Russians don't believe that
They can all go straight to hell
We're gonna put her feet back
On the path of righteousness and then
God bless America again

And you never did think
That it ever would happen again
You never did think
That we'd ever get together again
Yeah, we're walkin' real proud
And we're talkin' real loud again
You never did think
That it ever would happen again

From The Sound up in Long Island
Out to San Francisco Bay
And everything that's in between them is our own
And we may have done a little bit
Of fightin' amongst ourselves
But you outside people best leave us alone
'Cause we'll all stick together
And you can take that to the bank
That's the cowboys and the hippies
And the rebels and the yanks
You just go and lay your hand
On a Pittsburgh Steelers' fan
And I think you're gonna finally understand

And you never did think
That it ever would happen again
You never did think
That we'd ever get together again
(We damn sure fooled you)
Yeah, we're walkin' real proud
And we're talkin' real loud again
You never did think
That it ever would happen again

And you never did think
That it ever would happen again
You never did think
That we'd ever get together again
Yeah, we're walkin' real proud
And we're talkin' real loud again
You never did think
That it ever would happen again
