Josh Turner and Randy Travis were meant to sing together.

Just when you thought Travis had the most baritone voice in all of country music, along came Turner. The contemporary country singer has the type of sound you can't ignore, and he showcases that unmatched talent in this live performance with Travis.

The two sing Turner's, "Long Black Train" off his debut album of the same name. Turner wrote and recorded the song in 2003, where it stayed on the country charts for more than thirty weeks, reaching #13. The certified gold single has become one of Turner's signature songs, and getting the chance to share the stage with one of his long time idols on a song he wrote sounds like a dream come true.

In an interview with Rhapsody, Turner went "On The Record" to talk about his favorite album and inspiration to start a career in music. He said Travis' Storms Of Life album turned him into a huge fan! In fact, the first country song that Turner ever sang in front of an audience was "Diggin' Up Bones" from the same album. Awesome!

The special performance of Turner and Travis teaming up on "Long Black Train" is below. Their talent runs just as deep as their voices!

LYRICS BELOW

There's a long black train comin' down the line,
Feeding off the souls that are lost and cryin'.
Rails of sin, only evil remains.
Watch out, brother, for that long black train.
Look to the heaven's, you can look to the sky.
You can find redemption staring back into your eyes.
There is protection and there's peace the same:
Burnin' your ticket for that long black train.

'Cause there's victory in the Lord, I say.
Victory in the Lord.
Cling to the Father and his Holy name,
And don't go ridin' on that long black train.

There's an engineer on that long black train,
Makin' you wonder if the ride is worth the pain.
He's just a-waitin' on your heart to say:
"Let me ride on that long black train."

But you know there's victory in the Lord, I say.
Victory in the Lord.
Cling to the Father and his Holy name,
And don't go ridin' on that long black train.

Well, I can hear the whistle from a mile away.
It sounds so good but I must stay away.
That train is a beauty makin' everybody stare,
But its only destination is the middle of nowhere.

But you know there's victory in the Lord, I say.
Victory in the Lord.
Cling to the Father and his Holy name,
And don't go ridin' on that long black train.

I said cling to the Father and his Holy name,
And don't go ridin' on that long black train.

Yeah, watch out brother for that long black train.
That devil's drivin' that long black train.
