With everything going on in the world right now, from terrorism to politics, America has really been pushed into the center of the world stage. As is the case in almost any situation, it has also started to come under fire by those both inside and outside of the country.

Despite all of this, Hank Williams Jr. believes that America has nothing to apologize for.

Back in 2012, Williams released a fired-up song called "We Don't Apologize For America," expressing his anger at those who have negative things to say about the U.S.

He tries to drive the message across that the protesters and politicians make the country look bad, but that there are true heroes in the form of the U.S. Armed Forces.

Williams never released the song as a single, but it was included on his hit album Old School New Rules, which peaked at the 4th spot on the Billboard U.S. Country Charts.

"We Don't Apologize For America" is unique in the sense that it starts out sounding like an old battle hymn. You can hear the emotion packed in Williams' voice, and it's clear that he's passionate about the song.

You can listen to Williams' "We Don't Apologize For America" in its official lyric video below.

What do you think of what Williams has to say?

LYRICS BELOW

No nation's lost more men than Uncle Sam
From the fields of France to evil Afghanistan
No, freedom isn't free
Neither is liberty
It ain't the protesters and politicians
It's the 19 year old's on dangerous missions

We don't apologize for America
That old VFW, that is sacred ground
And we like to sing along on that good ole Haggard song
When you're runnin' down our country Hoss
You're walkin' on the fightin' side of me

So get behind the stars and stripes
Or just get the hell out and quit your riot
So you've got a long list of friends that you don't like
Well please do us a favor, all you America haters
Why don't you move to Mexico tonight?

No, we don't apologize for America
Walter Reed, that is sacred ground
And we'll all sing along on that good ole Merle song
When you're runnin' down our country Hoss
You're walkin' on the fightin' side of me

Hey, Obama, one more time

When you're runnin' down our country man
You're walkin' on the fightin' side of me
