Two members of Team Gwen found themselves at the bottom during Tuesday’s top 10 results episode. Korin Bukowski and Braiden Sunshine were forced to face off in a showdown where only one of them could be saved by America’s votes.

For the third week in a row, Bukowski landed in the bottom two, but this week she forgot lyrics during her Instant Save performance of Colbie Caillat’s hit song ‘Try.’

Whether it was the disappointment from once again being in the bottom two or host Carson Daly’s insensitive remark about this being “a familiar spot” for the singer, Bukowski just couldn’t hold it together. She choked up and forgot many of the words to the song. It was a difficult performance to watch especially when the camera’s turned to coach Gwen Stefani who looked as if she wanted to cry herself.

All of the coaches were sympathetic with Blake assuring Korin that even veterans like himself sometimes forget their lyrics and said, “You deserve to be in this competition.”

Pharrell Williams praised her for “getting knocked down and getting right back up” and told her, “Hold your head up.”

Regardless of kind words of encouragement from the coaches, Korin looked stood stone-faced next to Carson Daly and seemed to know that her time on the show was up. Korin was sent home, just one week before the brutal semi-final where five contestants will be cut at once.

Watch Korin’s heartbreaking performance of ‘Try’ below.
