Besides being ACM Award co-hosts, Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan are also really good buddies. The two country superstars always enjoy joking around with one another, and this year's CMT Artists Of The Year Awards were no exception.
Both Shelton and Bryan picked up awards during the ceremony, and when Bryan came to get his, Shelton couldn't help but crack a few jokes at the "Kick The Dust Up" singer's expense.
Shelton's main focus was on the Luke Bryan scented candle made by Yankee Candle, which is called Kill The Lights in honor of Bryan's newest album.
When the candle was released, Yankee said that the scent was like, "a mug full of something steaming topped with a layer of thick vanilla cream and laced with a dash of strong bourbon."
But while he was making fun of Bryan at the awards, Shelton shared his thoughts on what he thought the candle's true scent was.
"Man, I gotta get me some of these candles," Shelton said, holding the candle in his hand. "They smell exactly like Luke. It's like vanilla with a hint of deer urine."
Bryan took the whole thing in stride, and asked Shelton why he chose to bring up the candle, of all things.
"The candle? You roast me on the candle?" Bryan said, laughing as he tried to tell Shelton what the candle is supposed to smell like. "It's vanilla bourbon, not deer urine. I'm pretty sure deer urine has never been said at an award's show."
We have to agree with Bryan, that was definitely a first!

We can never get enough of watching these two banter back and forth!
