Larry Gatlin is an outspoken man. He doesn't care who hears him and he wants the world to know that he's had enough.
Yesterday, San Bernardino, California was struck by tragedy when at least 14 people were killed in a mass shooting, and even more were injured.
Gatlin took to Twitter to offer his condolences.
Our thoughts go out to everyone in #SanBernadino. This is the 352nd mass shooting this year. Enough is enough.— Larry Gatlin (@LarryGatlin) December 2, 2015
A few hours later, he posted a video on the Larry Gatlin and the Gatlin Brothers Facebook page. He begins the video by quoting Shakespeare's Macbeth.
"From Macbeth, Act 4, Scene 3, Macduff says, 'Bleed, bleed, poor country. Great tyranny, I think our country sinks beneath the yolk. It weeps. It bleeds. And each new day, a gash is added to our wounds.'"
He goes on to explain that Macduff eventually kills MacBeth, the tyrant of Scotland and while the play and our reality have some similarities, he just wants our country's leaders to do something about it.
"Folks, God in my heart knows that I want nothing to happen to our leaders," he says passionately. "I pray for their safety everyday, but I hope this will wake them up to the fact that our country is bleeding and a new gash has been added today in California."
Gatlin offers some advice, saying, "The best way to stop a bad guy with a gun is to have a good guy with a gun. I'm an American with a Remington. Let's pray for each other, because we badly need it."

Our prayers are with those affected by the San Bernardino shootings.
