In celebration of what would have been Frank Sinatra's 100th birthday this year, some of the music industry's biggest stars gathered to celebrate his life and legacy.

During a special concert called Sinatra 100: An All-Star Grammy Concert at the Wynn Encore Theater in Las Vegas, today's artists performed some of Sinatra's signature hits. The concert, which was filmed on December 2 and aired on December 6, featured performers from every genre, and country music was well-represented among them.

One country artist who took the stage in honor of Ol' Blue Eyes was none other than Garth Brooks. For his performance, Brooks paid tribute to Sinatra by covering one of his most recognizable songs, "The Lady Is A Tramp."

Originally a show tune in the 1937 musical Babes In Arms, "The Lady Is A Tramp" first became associated with Sinatra in 1957 when he sang the song in the film Pal Joey. Sinatra later went on to record the song with Ella Fitzgerald, and it soon became one of his signature tunes.

The song's lyrics are considered to be poking fun at the rules of New York high society, and how a certain lady is considered to be a "tramp" since she doesn't follow those rules. In Pal Joey, Sinatra's character sings the song to a wealthy widow he is trying to get some money from to finance his dream of opening a night club.

Brooks' performance of the song is the perfect tribute to Sinatra, maintaining the same fun energy that his version of the song was famous for.  Surrounded by a large band, Brooks takes control of the stage, working the crowd with his charm.

You can check out Brooks' rendition of "The Lady Is A Tramp" in the video below.

We feel that Sinatra would be quite proud of Brooks' version of his signature song!

LYRICS BELOW

She gets too hungry for dinner at eight
She likes the theatre and never comes late
She never bothers with people she'd hate
That's why the lady is a tramp

Doesn't like crap games with barons or earls
Won't go to Harlem in ermine and pearls
Won't dish the dirt with the rest of the girls
That's why the lady is a tramp

She likes the free fresh wind in her hair,
Life without care
She's broke and it's oke
Hates California, it's cold and it's damp
That's why the lady is a tramp

She gets too hungry to wait for dinner at eight
She loves the theatre but never comes late
She'd never bother with people she'd hate
That's why the lady is a tramp

She'll have no crap games with sharpies and frauds
And she won't go to Harlem in Lincolns or Fords
And she won't dish the dirt with the rest of the broads
That's why the lady is a tramp

She loves the free fresh wind in her hair
Life without care.
She's broke but it's oke
Hates California, it's so cold and so damp
That's why the lady... that's why the lady...
That's why the lady is a tramp
