Singer/songwriter Cam is quickly becoming one of country music's rising stars. Her most recent single, "Burning House" peaked at the 4th spot on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, and she's gone on to cover many other artists' big hits, even Adele's "Hello."

For her Grand Ole Opry appearance on July 10, 2015, Cam chose to tackle the song "Sweet Dreams" by the legendary Patsy Cline, and she definitely did it justice.

"Sweet Dreams" was first written and recorded by Don Gibson, and released in 1955. Since then, the song has become a country music staple, mainly thanks to Cline's rendition, which was released after her death in 1963.

Cline's version of the song was a major hit, peaking at the fifth position on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart, and breaking into the top 50 on the Billboard Top 100 chart.

Before Cam starts singing her rendition of the song at the Opry, she takes the time to dedicate her performance to two special people...her grandparents.

"My grandpa and my grandma had one of the greatest love stories," Cam says, smiling. "When it was real late they'd turn on a song like this and the two of them would slow dance together. So I'm going to sing this one for them."

The song starts out with a violin solo, before Cam's powerful voice breaks in, holding out one of the first notes and prompting cheers from the audience. Cam's voice has a distinctly classic country sound, which is perfectly fitting for a song made famous by Cline.

Toward the end of her performance, Cam places her hand over her heart and looks off to the side, and we're sure she had her grandparents on her mind.

You can watch Cam's stunning performance of "Sweet Dreams" in the video below.

We think that Cam's grandparents and Cline would be extremely proud of her Opry performance.

Sweet dreams of you
Every night I go through
Why can't I forget you and start my life anew
Instead of having sweet dreams about you

You don't love me, it's plain
I should know, I'll never wear your ring
I should hate you the whole night through
Instead of having sweet dreams about you

Sweet dreams of you
Things I know can't come true
Why can't I forget the past, start loving someone new
Instead of having sweet dreams about you
