The final single from the incredible baritone country legend is scheduled to debut on the anniversary of his passing...

Ray Price made his name in country music beginning in the early '50s and became the manager of friend, Hank Williams', band after Williams passed. While with the Drifting Cowboys and pioneering his own sound, he had successful hits like "Release Me" in 1954.

His career spanned over 60 years and he was recording music even up until he lost the battle to pancreatic cancer in 2013. Just two months prior, Price had completed recording his final album Beauty Is... the Final Sessions which was released almost four months exactly after his death.

Now, two years following his passing on December 16th, 2013, AmeriMonte Records is releasing his final single, "No More Songs To Sing". In a press release for the single, his widow, Janie Price recalls how he loved to sing the song.

"'No More Songs to Sing' was like a walk down memory lane for me. Listening to Ray sing this beautiful song was as if he was here again, and I recalled the times he spoke these very words to me: ‘Honey, someday when I am done singing, we’ll do all the things we planned.’

“… As hard as he tried, he could not deny his greatest love — to sing …,” she continues. “My hope is that, every day, someone, somewhere, will hear Ray Price singing and they, like Ray, will say, ‘There’ll never be a day when there’s “No More Songs to Sing."'"

Following his passing, Price has been remembered in some very moving ways. An exhibit at the Texas Country Music Hall Of Fame was built and even a special Opry Classics show honored him. It's clear how much influence this man had on country music over the years.

LYRICS BELOW

When I've No More Songs To Sing
No Music Left In These Old Strings
When There's No More Words To Rhyme
Honey There'll Be Time
To Fall In Love Again
To Hold The Hand Of My Best Friend
While Walking In The Rain
Whispering Your Name Again

The World Won't Turn So Fast
We'll Make The Moments Last
The Way We Always Wanted To
Baby Me And You
We'll Do Everything
When I've No More Songs To Sing

Girl You've Always Been Right There
The Answer To My Every Prayer
Through The Laughter And The Tears
Just Think Of All The Years We'll Share

The World Won't Turn So Fast
We'll Make The Moments Last
The Way We Always Wanted To
Baby Me And You
We'll Do Everything
When I've No More Songs To Sing
