Earlier this week, it was reported that Kacey Musgraves' car was broken into and her new boots were stolen.
The songstress took to Twitter to vent her frustrations.
Happened across from @3rdandLindsley a bit after 9:30 pm. Broke my window. Stole my new shoes! Still calculating what all else they took.— KACEY MUSGRAVES (@KaceyMusgraves) January 5, 2016

...next up: a song about stolen boots. Not sure if there's anything more country.— KACEY MUSGRAVES (@KaceyMusgraves) January 5, 2016
The robbery took place across the street from 3rd & Lindsley Bar & Grill in downtown Nashville. Her car window was broken and a pair of Lucchese cowboy boots were taken.
Luckily for Musgraves, the boot thief has been arrested. WKRN-TV reported that 30-year-old Darnell Cunningham was arrested after trying to return the pair of boots he had stolen to Lucchese Boots on 12th Avenue.
He provided them with the original receipt, which had Musgraves' name on it. Police reported that "the store manager recognized the boots as the pair he sold to Musgraves." The manager questioned Cunningham about the boots and he reportedly grabbed the boots and ran.
Cunningham was taken into custody and charged with theft of property.
"Stupidity leads to victory," Musgraves tweeted after Cunningham was arrested.
