Charlie Daniels is very opinionated. You may agree with him, you may not, but his last statement almost all country fans can agree with.

Daniels took to Twitter to express his latest thoughts about Chris Stapleton

Stapleton, who famously stole the show at the 49th Annual CMA Awards, had lots of people asking the same question after that night. Who is he?

After some research, country music fans have realized that he is the songwriter who penned some of country music's most beloved modern songs like Luke Bryan's "Drink A Beer" and Kenny Chesney's "Never Wanted Nothing More".

His popularity since the CMAs has risen and his now iconic performance with Justin Timberlake is just a taste of what's to come for the Kentucky native. He is currently the only country singer on the lineup for the famous music festival Coachella, and recently was booked to be the musical guest on an upcoming episode of Saturday Night Live.

The reason a lot of people don't know too much about Stapleton is because his music isn't played on mainstream country radio, and Daniels has no idea why.

"Listened to Chris Stapleton," he wrote. "I think radio's refusal to play this breath of fresh air is an insult to country music."

Do you agree with Daniels' comment?
