Some people are simply born with natural musical talent, and young Celine Tam is definitely one of those people.
Celine captivated the world when she was just five years old with her performance on a television show of the popular Josh Groban song, "You Raise Me Up."
"You Raise Me Up" was originally composed and performed by the Irish-Norwegian duo, Secret Garden, and was only a minor hit in the UK at the time. But the most recognizable version of the song was released by Groban in 2003, when it became a number one hit in the U.S. Today, the song is often sung as a hymn during church services.
Little Celine didn't appear nervous at all as she took to the stage to perform the song. She started off singing softly, but let her voice soar to new heights when she reached the chorus. No matter how high or how low the note, Celine put just the right amount of power and emotion into each one.
For being so young, Celine's voice has a level of clarity and control that many adults struggle to master. But it was no struggle for Celine, who left many of the audience members absolutely awestruck with her performance.
Celine, who is now seven, continues to amaze with her performances of other popular songs, including those by her namesake, Celine Dion. She has won countless awards for her performances, and shows no signs of slowing down any time soon.
You can watch her stunning rendition of "You Raise Me Up" in the video below.
With a voice like that, we think Celine will continue to take the world by storm!
