Joey + Rory Celebrate Life’s Little Moments With Daughter Indy

For Joey + Rory, each new day is something worth celebrating. Now more than ever, the couple especially treasures the simple moments in life, especially those that involve their daughter, Indiana.

With her second birthday approaching on February 17, little Indy has been accomplishing many “big girl” tasks, like taking her first swimming lessons. Rory shared a photo of him with his baby girl at pool on her first day of swimming lessons, and the smiles on their faces say it all.

Now, Joey + Rory are celebrating another big moment for Indy. In another photo the couple shared to their Facebook page, Indy is shown standing in front of the bathroom sink while she brushes her teeth.

“…toof brushin’ like a big girl,” Joey +Rory captioned the photo. Indy really does look like she’s brushing her teeth like a big girl would, with a true look of determination on her face.

For us, things like brushing our teeth or taking swimming lessons are just a small part of our daily lives. But for Joey + Rory, these little moments they share with their precious daughter Indy are true blessings. 

Before Joey had cancer, and even before little Indy was born, Joey + Rory still had a great appreciation for the simple moments in life. They sang about their thankfulness for life’s little moments in their 2010 song, “That’s Important to Me,” which you can listen to below.
