If you enjoy any of Chris Stapleton's music, you will be blown away by this performance.
A couple years ago, when Stapleton was a lesser known singer-songwriter, he played a Valentine's Day show in Nashville.
The lucky individuals who were able to witness his set live knew he was something special, so some filmed it and boy, are we glad they did!
Stapleton sang a soulful cover of the legendary B.B. King's song called "The Thrill Is Gone" and amazed everyone.
"The Thrill Is Gone" was originally recorded in 1951 by blues musician Roy Hawkins. His version reached No. 6 on the Billboard R&B charts. Many artists have since recorded cover versions.
King recorded a cover in 1970 and it became a major hit for him. It earned him a Grammy Award for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance, a Grammy Hall of Fame Award in 1998, and became one of his signature songs.
Stapleton put his own spin to the legendary song and it is absolutely incredible. His signature gritty vocals put the soul in soulful.
From his bluesy guitar solo to his insane vocals, Stapleton's choice of song was absolutely perfect.
