Don Williams has been forced to postpone his 2016 tour.
According to a press release, the Country Music Hall of Fame inductee announced his tour earlier this year but will now be undergoing unexpected hip replacement surgery, forcing the singer to postpone his shows. Fans are undoubtably saddened by the news, but have been encouraged to contact authorized ticketing platforms for refunds.
Williams has been a legend in country music for decades. Known as "The Gentle Giant" he has produced countless hits, and loved for his laid-back style. In 2010 he was given country music's highest honor of being inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. After hits like "Good Ole Boys Like Me","Tulsa Time", and countless others, he deserved it!
We are unsure of when Williams' surgery will take place, but we wish him a speedy recovery. Hopefully he will be back on stage in no time!
