Carrie Underwood is full of surprises!
This week, the country superstar took some time out of her busy schedule to sit down and talk to Extra about the Grammys, mom life, and... The Walking Dead?
Underwood is currently up for her 8th Grammy Award, as she is nominated for Best Country Solo Performance for her mega-hit, "Little Toy Guns." Underwood is also scheduled to perform her newest single, "Heartbeat," with fellow country singer, Sam Hunt.
In the interview below, Underwood was asked if the 8th Grammy would fit perfectly on the shelf with her other 7. The country singer giggled and responded, "They all look pretty good, I will always be willing to welcome another one."
Unfortunately, that's about as much as she disclosed regarding the Grammys, but she was open to other topics!
Underwood opened up about mom life, and her 2016 workout goals. The singer has regularly updates fans about her on-the-road workouts, which she admits she sometimes has to get creative. Underwood currently is posted to the hashtag, "#shreddedbysummer."
The conversation took a big turn when Underwood started talking about AMC's, The Walking Dead. Extra joked with Underwood, saying, "You want to be a zombie? We can make that happen!"
Underwood laughed, and admitted she may have the perfect contact if she ever decided to go on the show, since she's friends with the show's main character, Norman Reedus. She said,
Well, I have Norman Reedus cell phone number, so I'm pretty sure I could go straight to the source on that one.
We hope she makes an appearance!
