One of Trace Adkins’ biggest hits is his 2005 single, “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk,” and is a favorite of many die-hard country music fans, including Sadie Robertson

This year, Sadie is in charge of co-hosting the Movieguide Awards, and recently “took over” the Movieguide Instagram during a rehearsal for the show. But there was one particular moment from rehearsal that was so funny she had to share it on her personal account.

During rehearsals, Sadie took to the stage and started singing “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk,” showing off some of her Dancing With the Stars moves in the process. She tried her best to imitate Trace’s deep voice, but she simply couldn’t sing the song quite like him.

It just so happens that Trace is one of the scheduled performers at the Movieguide Awards this year, and he was actually standing on stage with Sadie when she started to break into song and dance.

Trace rushed over to Sadie’s side and pulled the microphone away from her before she could get past the first few lines of the chorus. The look of disspointment on Sadie’s face was clear when Trace interrupted her, but it quickly changed to that of embarrassment.

That was embarrassing,” Sadie said. Trace felt inclined to agree with her, saying, “It was a little embarrassing.

Of course, Sadie and Trace knew it was all in fun, and shared a good laugh with one another afterwards.

You can watch the hysterical moment in the video below!

We wonder if Sadie will join Trace on stage during his actual performance on the Movieguide Awards? Now that would be something to see!
