Hot off the heels of her an interview where Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are swooning over one another, the No Doubt singer debuted a single that is clearly a love letter - but to who?

Although Stefani and Shelton paired up following her divorce, her album was rumored to have been written before that. It has left many fans wondering who is she talking about if it's not Blake?

"Make Me Like You" is the second single from her first solo studio album in a decade, This Is What The Truth Feels Like. Her lead single, "Used To Love You" was also about someone, but it was obvious that she was speaking to her former husband, Gavin Rossdale. The song has been praised by critics, notating her unique vocal styling, upbeat bubblegum pop sound, and catchy sound.

Throughout the song, the pop star repeats the idea that she's caught up in strong like with another person unexpectedly. She also sounds hesitant at parts, saying "Hey, wait a minute - No, you can't do this to me."

The likelihood is that the song centers around Blake Shelton, since the first verse starts out describing her as broken hearted, then finding someone to help repair the damage.

"I was fine before I met you
I was broken but fine
I was lost and uncertain
But my heart was still mine
I was free before I met you
I was broken but free
All alone in the clear view, but now you are all I see"

Knowing the timeline of events does bring some of this into question, but all-in-all we think it's really just about Blake. They had been flirty for nearly the whole ninth season of The Voice, and it wasn't until it was almost over that they acknowledged their relationship.

LYRICS BELOW

I was fine before I met you
I was broken but fine
I was lost and uncertain
But my heart was still mine
I was free before I met you
I was broken but free
All alone in the clear view, but now you are all I see

Hey, wait a minute
No, you can’t do this to me
Hey, wait a minute
No, that’s not fair
Hey, wait a minute
You’re running back to me
I really like you, but I’m so scared

Why’d you have to go and make me like you?
Yeah this is a feeling I’m not used to
Why’d you have to go and make me like you?
I’m so mad at you cause now you got me missing you
Cause now you got me missing you

Something I could get used to
I could get used to this
It’s getting harder to leave it
Your lips on my lips
Oh, I can’t believe it
How good it could be
Didn’t wanna believe it, but now you are all I see

Hey, wait a minute
No, you can’t do this to me
Hey, wait a minute
No, that’s not fair
Hey, wait a minute
You’re running back to me
I really like you, but I’m so scared

Why’d you have to go and make me like you?
Yeah this is a feeling I’m not used to
Why’d you have to go and make me like you?
I’m so mad at you cause now you got me missing you
Cause now you got me missing you

Oh God, thank God I found you
Oh God, cause now you got me missing you
Oh God, thank I found you
I’m so mad at you cause now you got me missing you
Thank God
Thank God that I found you, oh
Now you got me missing you
Now you got me missing you

Why’d you have to go and make me like you?
Yeah this is a feeling I’m not used to
Why’d you have to go and make me like you?
I’m so mad at you cause now you got me missing you
Cause now you got me missing you

Oh God, thank God I found you
Oh God, cause now you got me missing you
Oh God, thank I found you
I’m so mad at you cause now you got me missing you
