After being with the Nashville Predators for a little over a month now, Ryan Johansen seems to be fitting in with his teammates. Johansen, who was traded to the Predators from the Columbus Blue Jackets, is a center for the Predators, scoring 16 points in 16 games already.
Now that Johansen has established his relationship with some of his teammates, he's found himself subject to some playful teasing, even from Mike Fisher's country superstar wife, Carrie Underwood.
During a hockey match on Valentine's Day weekend, the cameras happened to capture Johansen skating off to the side and planting a kiss on his hockey stick. Underwood couldn't help but joke about the whole ordeal, and started tweeting videos of the moment set to various love songs.
"Hey, @RyanJohansen19 heard you got a little snuggle time w/ a special someone for #Valentine's Day So sweet..." Underwood wrote.
Later that day, Johansen responded to Underwood's teasing with a tweet of his own. Johansen shared a picture of him planting a smooch on Fisher, while standing in front of a poster with a photo of Underwood on it.
"Get your own valentine @carrieunderwood," Johansen wrote.
Eventually, Underwood managed to steal her Valentine back from Johansen, and he gave her a beautiful 48 karat diamond necklace which she wore to the Grammy Awards on February 15.
Underwood sings about her love for Fisher and their baby boy, Isaiah, in one of her songs off of her Storyteller album, called "What I Never Knew I Always Wanted." You can listen to that song below.
We wonder if this Twitter war will be something that Underwood and Johansen will continue, because it's pretty funny!
