Chris Stapleton has proven that he can sing absolutely anything and make it sound awesome. Whether it's Justin Timberlake's "Drink You Away, or the hits of B.B. King, Stapleton is able to turn any song from any genre into a catchy country tune.
Stapleton's artistic talents were honored during the Grammy's on Monday night (Feb. 15), when he took home the awards for Best Country Album and Best Country Solo Performance.
Hot off the heels of his Grammy wins, Stapleton made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live a few days later. During the show, Stapleton took part in a hilarious skit that officially proves he could sing the dictionary and make it sound incredible.
In an infomercial-style clip, Stapleton appears on screen to introduce a new compilation album called Chris Stapleton: Cringeworthy. The make-believe album includes songs based off of the most cringeworthy words and sayings in the English language, including "panties," "awesome sauce," and the terrifying duo of "moist & juicy."
"Hi, I’m Chris Stapleton, here to tell you about my new album, where I turn all the words you hate the most, into songs you will love the most," Stapleton said in an introduction to the album.
Stapleton then performed some of the songs on the Cringeworthy album, and even though the words themselves are downright awful, Stapleton somehow turns them into beautiful music.
This is one performance of Stapleton's you simply have to see for yourself. We guarantee you won't be able to contain your laughter the second he starts singing.
Of course, the Cringeworthy album isn't real, but if it was, would you still buy it? We know we would!
