In his first Nashville show since his Grammy domination, Chris Stapleton completely rocked the stage at The Ryman Auditorium.
He performed songs from his Grammy-winning album, Traveller, as well as a few covers.
The sold-out crowd gave him the welcome home he deserved and after the third song, the audience gave him a standing ovation that "brought wife, Morgane, to tears."
Throughout his set, the audience gave him multiple standing ovations to show just how much they appreciate him, his music and what he's accomplished so far.
One cover he sang with his opening act, Maren Morris, was unforgettable.
Together, they sang an amazing version of Tom Petty's "Free Fallin'". Stapleton's signature raspy voice and Morris' soprano harmony are everything this song deserves.
Morris took the lead on a couple of verses and definitely blew us away.
