The pair of country stars have been traveling on one of the largest tours in music history since Brooks launched The Garth Brooks World Tour with Trisha Yearwood in 2014 and, as part, have been singing incredible duets during various show dates.
This recent duet - a stunning tribute to one of country music's most iconic pairings, will have nearly every fan begging for them to record it!
Brooks and Yearwood sat down with PBS to talk about the legendary Loretta Lynn's career and history in music. PBS is set to debut their new documentary special of her life on the same day that her newest album, Full Circle, drops: March 4th, 2016.
In the preview of American Masters - Loretta Lynn: Still a Mountain Girl, you'll see Yearwood and Brooks talking about the synergy between the legendary performers that brought them a seemingly endless number of hits.
Expressing how the magic worked between the two, Brooks talks about their song "After The Fire Is Gone" and how their voices melded so perfectly together.
"When Conway and Loretta are sitting there just doing those same waves and everything together," Brooks began. "That's something I think you can't get from one of them just doing it by themselves."
At that cue, Yearwood starts in on the song herself - prompting her husband to follow suit. It's a short clip, but so beautiful.
Watch these two in their spontaneous session at the 2:00 mark in the video below! (We've also included the original Conway & Loretta version below the lyrics!)
