Fans excited to see Cam open for Brad Paisley in Wichita, Kansas on Thursday (Feb. 25) night, will be a little disappointed.

Grammy-nominated newcomer, Cam, was forced to cancel her appearance due to illness.

"I'm heartbroken that I'm unable to perform in Wichita tonight," she said in a media release.

The release stated that she is sick with the flu and a high fever.

Paisley's other opener is Eric Paslay, best known for his heartbreaking song "She Don't Love You" and lending his voice to Charles Kelley's Grammy nominated-song "The Driver".

Paisley, Paslay and Cam are scheduled to perform Friday, Feb. 26 in Springfield, Missouri. It has yet to be announced if she will be canceling that performance as well.

We wish Cam the very best and hope she has a quick recovery.

Watch her Grammy-nominated song "Burning House" below.
