Talk about a good cause!
For this Leap Year, Chevrolet wanted to do something extra special. The company began the campaign called #DayItForward in hopes of inspiring others to do something nice with the "extra" day.
In the video below, Chevy joined forces with a country superstar to make some days a little brighter. The company proclaimed,
2016 is a leap year... You have an extra 24 hours to do something nice for someone special.
With his extra 24 hours, country icon Luke Bryan wanted to do something very special for the firefighters at the Franklin Fire Department.
We pick people that work hard to look after us and we're going to do something nice for them. I've got lunch, and I'm taking it to Fire Station No. 2 right here in Franklin, TN.
He filled up his Chevy truck with food and CDs and headed to the station. Moments later, Bryan surprised a group of hardworking firefighters with his gifts, and they couldn't have been more excited.
Bryan spent lunch with the hardworking men, talking about hunting, music and life, getting to know each man on a personal level.
Following the lunch, Bryan was even able to try on a firefighting uniform himself! Now that isn't something you see every day!
