The oh so talented Grace VanderWaal is racking up the social media praise once again with her breathtaking cover of Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling In Love". This romantic ballad topped charts in 1962 and set a high musical standard for love songs that both proceeded and followed its debut. While a variety of big name artists have done their own renditions, such as Bob Dylan and Ingrid Michaelson, VanderWaal's version is one we can't help but fall in love with! All puns aside, this 12-year-old sensation is taking fans by storm!
We were first introduced to VanderWaal earlier this June when she auditioned for America's Got Talent with her self written original "I Don't Know My Name" that instantly captured the attention and hearts of audience members, as well as the judges! Her performance was so powerful and chock-full of talent that AGT judge Howie Mandel did the honors of hitting the sought out for "golden buzzer", allowing VanderWaal to advance straight to the live shows further into the season.
While VanderWaal has covered a variety of iconic melodies, her take on The King's well-known hit is one of a kind! In addition to her impressive Ukulele skills, her rhythm and voice well beyond her years are captivating her viewers and leaving us wanting more! Take a look for yourself!
