Billy Ray Cyrus’ Version Of ‘These Boots Are Made For Walkin” Will Make You Want To Get Up And Dance

Word Press Pintrest

In 1992, Billy Ray Cyrus‘ debut album Some Gave All, was the talk of the town.

Now, 24 years later, he is emerging back onto the country scene with his 14th studio album, Thin Line. The album will be released on September 9th and can be preordered on Amazon here and iTunes here.

One of the songs on Some Gave All that put him on the map was Nancy Sinatra’s signature song “These Boots Are Made For Walkin'”.

While Sinatra released it in 1966, many singers covered the classic tune including Cyrus and several other country artists.

Cyrus’ music video begins with him telling his audience, “Here’s an old record on our brand new album! See if you recognize this one.”

He begins to sing the 1966 hit and the images are intertwined with a not-so-happy woman watching his performance on television. Maybe she was the one who his boots walked away from.

For the last 20 years, the song has been a concert staple for Cyrus and fans go wild when they hear the musical introduction.

If y’all haven’t seen him perform live before, you should! It’s a non-stop, high-energy show and he always gives it 100%.

While he has no current tour dates coming up, that might change soon with the September 9th release of Thin Line.

Cyrus just announced if you pre-order the album, you will receive an instant download of two of the tracks, “Hey Elvis” and “Tulsa Time”, which features Aerosmith rocker Joe Perry.
