The knockout rounds on NBC's The Voice were on for the books, eliciting incredible performances from hopeful and clearly talented contestants! Perhaps the biggest treat of the night, however, was the sensational performance from country musician Josh Gallagher. Gallagher, battling it out against fellow contestant Sundance Head, performed Brooks & Dunn's rendition of the song they reinstated from its original 1973 release, "My Maria".
The singer gave one hell of a performance amidst an eager audience and the all too powerful judges, nodding their head to be beat of the mega hit! However, although Gallagher's performance was hailed one of the best of the night, his knockout round competitor Head was ultimately chosen of the two to advance onto coach Blake Shelton's coveted team.
Luckily for Gallagher, as well as his supportive fans, the crushing emotion of disappointment was short lived as coach Adam Levine saved the singer and recruited him to "Team Adam"!
Levine told the singer, "The easiest steal for me to make was you," following his previous heartfelt compliment of "I think the sky is the limit for you."
Be sure to keep an eye out for this promising contestant! You can watch his breathtaking performance below and tell us what you thought about the decisions of the night!
