Country music's favorite bombshell Carrie Underwood has a reputation for absolutely dominating during red carpet events, whether rocking a sexy sheer plunge accentuated with floral lace or even her unforgettable nude party dress complete with an abundance of sparkles and a wickedly hot cape! Needless to say, Underwood has always been a total babe in any designer or cut!
However, it seems that Underwood chose to take a different approach with her 2017 Golden Globes gown designed by Iris Serban, tossing aside her inner goddess and showcasing the sweet and lovable Oklahoma girl that we all know and love! The singer traded in her sparkles and sass for a much more tame look, rocking a blush pink gown complete with an accentuating floral neckline that gradually transitioned to Underwood's waist.
Perhaps the most revealing aspect of her dress were deemed the subtle cut outs arounds the singer's waistline, as the gown maintained its classy image and modest nature. As always, the "Church Bells" singer was an image of sheer beauty, although fans were ridden with mixed emotions on the gown selection. While some loved Underwood's ravishing approach and applauded her classy selection, other compared the gown's floral features to that of a decorated pastry.
Regardless, this country girl was a pure image of grace and beauty. What did y'all think about the dress? Were you pro-gown?
