Country Legend Makes Appearance On Hilarious TV Show ‘Drunk History’

Comedy Central’s Drunk History has given us some of the funniest interpretations of our great nation’s history as told by drunk people.

These people are not historians, or even history experts for that matter. They just like history and getting drunk, so why not combine the two!

Drunk History allows one or two people to tell their version of history and shows actors portraying their story. They did a hysterical version of Dolly Parton and Porter Wagoner’s falling out, which had us on the floor!

This time, Drunk History was telling a story about America’s seventh president, Andrew Jackson. With the help of actor Michael Cera and country legend Dwight Yoakam, this ridiculous and possibly true story of Andrew Jackson came to life.

As noted in history books, Jackson was a colonel in the Tennessee militia and had participated in and won quite a few duels. In this particular story told by a drunk man, Jackson wins a duel and two officers in his army, Thomas and Jesse Benton, who are brothers, become his right hand men.

Thomas, played by Michael Cera, is sent to Washington DC, but Jesse, played by Yoakam, stays in Tennessee and gets in an argument at a bar.

Yoakam plays the part perfectly and this story gets funnier and funnier as the bit goes on!
