The Army veteran and country singer had some fiery choice words for those people who denounced our new President-elect so much that they vowed to move from the country.
Early this morning following the close of the 2016 Presidential Election, country singer Craig Morgan sounded off on the new President-elect's haters in a spitfire post that caught a lot of attention.
Known for standing up for conservative values and vocalizing his opinion on matters opened up to the people both for and against President-elect Donald Trump.
"God Bless America, land that I love. Stand beside her and guide her through the night with a light from above," Morgan wrote in a post on Facebook. "America, I have stood and will always stand by you. You have allowed me to be me. I am proud to be from a nation where the people’s vote matters."
Serving in both the U.S. Army and Army Reserves, Morgan is first and foremost an American - beyond anything else. He has always appreciated our country for the amazing freedoms we get and this statement clearly reflects his gratefulness for our ability to maintain a democracy, but he went straight for the people denouncing their country because their leader did not win.
"There have been numerous people say that if Donald Trump was elected they would leave this nation," He continues in the post. "If you choose not to, I completely understand as it is the greatest country in the world. Should you choose to stand by your word and leave, don’t let the door hit you in the ass on the way out."
