Crowd Goes Silent When Assistant Principal Starts Singing At Lincoln Memorial

Earlier this year, while on vacation in Washington D.C., school administrator Star Swain was totally unaware that something was about to take place that would change her life forever.

While walking through the Lincoln Memorial with a group of friends, Swain was coerced into singing as tourists milled about. The Florida native wasn’t too keen on the idea and became instantly nervous when her friend put her on the spot using Facebook Live. But, Star relented and started singing “The Star-Spangled Banner.”

As Star’s voice grew louder, people began to stop and listen. Within minutes the entire crowd was silent as they listened to Star’s dynamic voice belt out our country’s national anthem.

The video of Star Swain’s performance went viral and opened doors in ways Star never expected. One major event that recently took place for Swain included one of country music’s greatest stars.

During a recent Farm Aid event, Willie Nelson invited Star to sing “Amazing Grace” with him on stage.

It’s just the beginning for Star Swain. The original video for her “Star-Spangled Banner” performance has received more than 40 million views, but many have yet to be introduced to this talented lady’s music.
