Even before Duck Dynasty premiered in 2012, the Robertson's family company Duck Commander had taken off, thanks to the business mind of CEO Willie Robertson.
In 2006, Willie launched a spin-off company, Buck Commander, dedicated to deer hunting. He's said in interviews that he actually prefers deer hunting to duck hunting. The irony!
Buck Commander became so successful, they also got their own show on The Outdoor Channel. Willie saw something in Buck Commander's rise and decided to branch out into other areas of hunting.
Fin Commander and Strut Commander were launched, focusing on fishing and turkey hunting, respectively. Fin Commander and Strut Commander merchandise is now available on Duck Commander's website.
With four companies now up and running, what's one more?!
Duck Commander slyly announced yet another spin-off brand, Goose Commander on Thursday (Sept. 8). They shared a picture of a few men out goose hunting with the caption, "In Arkansas, W.E. Philips and Jeff Smith are starting off Early Season Goose Hunting. Check Goose Commander for our Goose hunting updates."
You can follow along for goose hunting updates at the Goose Commander Facebook page here.
