While the highly coveted stage that showcases the talented NBC's "The Voice" contestants can be a highly intimidating experience, it was no match for the vocal prodigy Darby Walker. As a former actress on the Disney Channel's beloved show "Girl Meets World", Walker is no stranger to the cameras and star-studded crowds. However, it wasn't her Disney past that won over the judges, but her soulful and utterly flawless rendition of Motown hit "Stand By Me".
Wearing a vintage vest that she credited as a stellar hand-me-down from her grandmother, Walker graced the stage with a vibrant presence and impeccable vocal talent!
Cyrus kicked off the post-performance compliments by encouraging Walker to partner up with her, believing that Walker's voice would coincide perfectly with her own. Following the compliment, Cyrus expressed how badly she wanted to sing with Walker, prompting the fellow judges to encourage the two gals to have a one-on-one duet on stage! An elated Cyrus rushed to Walker's side and the two harmonized in a yet another soulful performance of the country classic "Jolene".
However, this was yet to be the last performance for Walker! Expressing her love to Alicia Keys for her iconic song "No One", Keys humbly threw out the tune to Walker and they, too, created a simply outstanding rendition of the said hit!
As if having the opportunity to collaborate with both Cyrus and Keys wasn't enough, Walker now has the opportunity to pick either of her idols to coach her to what we hope will be the beginning of a successful career!
