Just days after announcing that he was set to play a free concert in Nashville, the country music star revealed that out of safety concerns he will be forced to cancel one of his upcoming Orlando concerts.
Originally scheduled for Thursday October 6th, the first date of Garth Brooks' shows in Orlando has been cancelled due to the threatening nature of Hurricane Matthew.
These shows are a part of his Man Against Machine World Tour With Trisha Yearwood he's been traveling on for the last two years.
As of now, the remaining shows for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evening will continue as planned.
The cancelled performance has been re-booked to happen on Sunday (October 9th) at 3 PM.
While canceling this first date is a precautionary measure, fans should be on notice that the other concert dates may be affected - depending on the severity of the storm.
According to a CBS News report, the Governor of Florida predicts that the hurricane "will be devastating" and is expected to start affecting the coast of the Sunshine State early Thursday.
