Country music singer Gretchen Wilson is making her way back into the music game, and she absolutely cannot wait to share it with her fans! The singer took a break from music upon entering the realm of motherhood, explaining to Broadway World,
"As a single mom, I knew I could never get the time back with my daughter if I continued the pace I was on."
Wilson made the executive decision to withdraw from music in order to support and raise her daughter Grace, who she described as "really talented and very involved in school."
However, the time has come for the "Redneck Woman" singer to make her grand entrance back into our speakers and she is doing so by releasing a long awaited single that she could not be more excited about! Wilson and big time award-winning producer Blake Chancey, known for his work with the Dixie Chicks and Montgomery Gentry to name a few, have been hashing it out in the studio, ultimately creating Wilson's newest single, Rowdy". The song is set to be released on November 4, while her new album is anticipated for release in 2017. Additionally, it's said Wilson's booking agent is diligently working for a possible launching of a comeback tour for the singer!
"I'm as excited about the music we've cut as I am about my first album, and I can't wait to get back on the road to share it with everyone!"
Stay on the lookout and grab the single "Rowdy" on its November 4 release!
