Sister Act Makes Tough Coach Decision After Receiving Four-Chair Turn With Incredible Dixie Chicks Cover

We’ve seen four-chair turns before on The Voice, and we’ve seen jaw-dropping performances before, but one of the latest blind auditions took it to a whole new level.  When sister act Whitney and Shannon took the stage during last night’s blind auditions, it was pure magic.

In their Dixie Chick-esque cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “Landslide,” the duo delivered haunting harmonies that not only brought the crowd to their feet, but left all four Voice coaches fighting for the sisters.

Coach Adam Levine was the first to address the sisters after their performance, “Hearing how beautifully you guys were harmonizing, you can’t teach something like that. That collaboration is really really a tough dance. It either works or it’s a mess. And, it was really beautiful.”

“It’s that thing that you can only have, I truly believe, with siblings,” Blake Shelton said of the sisters’ tight harmonies. “Being a duo and being successful on this show has only ever happened one time. And I’m proud to say it was on my team and it was with the Swon Brothers. I want you guys to think about that because nobody works harder, I’d like to say, in the country music industry than me. I would be honored and proud to be your guys’ coach.”

‘Voice’ newcomer Alicia Keys simply said, “The world needs the two of you. You represent the future.

Miley Cyrus, who grew up on country music and the Dixie Chicks, praised the duo’s performance saying “there is almost a psychic connection.” Cyrus also shared how “Landslide” got her through some of the toughest moments in her life including heartbreak and personal losses.

But, it was Alicia Keys who landed the lucky sister act. We can’t wait to hear more from Whitney and Shannon in the weeks to come!
