On September 12, country star Jana Kramer brought the heat with her debut performance on Dancing with the Stars.
She and her professional partner, Gleb Savchenko, performed a steamy Viennese Waltz that left judges and host Tom Bergeron needing a "cold shower".
Unfortunately, just a few days after her dancing debut, she revealed she was in a lot of pain and was headed to the doctors. She revealed on Wednesday (Sept. 14) via Twitter that she was in "insane back pain" and shared a photo of a heat pack on her back.
Not too happy right now. Insane back pain. Going to doctors now. 🙏🏽. "Give me something good". pic.twitter.com/3jN9g7zrUD— Jana Kramer (@kramergirl) September 14, 2016
E! News caught up with Kramer and Savchenco during rehearsals on Thursday (Sept. 15), where Kramer revealed just how severe her injuries are.
"I just pulled something and it continued to get worse," she said. "Yesterday in rehearsal I tweaked it again really bad and I went to the doctors and they said that I tore some muscles in my ribcage."
She was advised by the doctor to not dance, but Kramer said, "That is not an option."
To help her manage the pain while getting ready for week two of the competition, she will be getting shots, taking steroids given by the doctor and "not giving up on this."
Kramer joined DWTS in hopes it would be a "healing process" from her sudden split from husband and father of her 7-month-of daughter, Mike Caussin.
Watch her talk about her injury below.
