They won a CMA Award for Musical Event of the Year and were nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Country Duo/Group Performance.

The song wasn’t the same without Bentley’s female counterpart and since King couldn’t be at every tour stop with him, Bentley often looked to his audience to help him out. Sometimes, he even had his daughter Evie help him out!

Luckily, at one of his shows in Canada, a young girl named Mariah was more than willing to help him out. Bentley pulled her on stage, literally, and handed her the mic. She was not shy at all as she sang to the thousands of people in the crowd.

She knew every lyric and totally stole the show and didn’t want to stop singing! When Bentley asked her to tell everyone her name, she just continued singing. Because of the loud crowd, Bentley had to bend down and whisper in her ear and once he knew her name, he said, “Everyone give it up for Mariah! She’s my Canadian Elle King!”

Elle King, you better watch out; Mariah is coming for your gig! Watch the awesome moment below.
