Sounds like Luke Bryan has some debts he needs to square up on! In a pre-CMA interview with Bobby Bones, the country music superstar is called out on never paying up on their year old bet.
After discussing that the odds are in Bryan's favor this year according the various betting sites, Bones reminds the country singer of a bet they made on the matter the year prior.
"You don't remember the bet that we made," says Bones. "And that's okay because I'm just a goldfish in the ocean of Luke Bryan...The bet was that if you won you were gonna send me some cowboy boots, and you won and I never got the boots."
The country star made a bet with Bones that if he were to win "Entertainer of the Year" at the 2015 CMAs then he would send him a pair of cowboy boots. After Bryan inevitably took home the gold, he forgot to pay up amidst the excitement of winning such a monumental award.
Bryan asked what size boots he wears so he can pay up on his debt but Bones refused to tell, claiming, "If I get them now I'll burn them," but went on to say that "I hope you win again."
Luke Bryan is currently up against Carrie Underwood, Garth Brooks, Keith Urban and Chris Stapleton for "Entertainer of the Year" at the 2016 CMAs. You can watch the full interview below and be sure to let us know who you think will win the iconic award in the comments!
