There's been a lot of lead up to this year's CMA Awards, and for a good reason. This year is the award's 50th anniversary, and in celebration the CMA has spent the past several months reflecting on country music's rich history.
To go along with the awards, 30 country stars from the past and present teamed up on the epic mashup song, "Forever Country," which blends three country classics into one. But the CMA didn't end the collaborations there. In a series of promotional clips for the awards, some of today's biggest stars have been pairing up to sing country classics.
So far, Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood have kept the "Forever Country" theme going by singing a duet of their parts on the mashup. Miranda Lambert and Keith Urban made another amazing duet when they honored Willie Nelson and Patsy Cline. Now, Luke Bryan and Little Big Town have joined forces to honor Nelson once again, along with the legendary country group Alabama.
Bryan and Little Big Town are used to collaborating with one another. The two have been on Bryan's Kill the Lights Tour, and the crowd always loves it when they sing together.
You're sure to love Bryan and Little Big Town's duet in promotion of the CMA Awards, as they sing Nelson's "On the Road Again" and Alabama's "Mountain Music." Little Big Town starts off singing the former, and their harmonies are just as stunning as always.
Bryan jumps in later on "Mountain Music, with Little Big Town coming in to harmonize along with him at the end of the line. The bubbly duet comes to a conclusion when all five take off "On the Road Again."
The CMA needs to keep these promotional duets coming, because we can't get enough! Enjoy Bryan and Little Big Town's collaboration below.
