New Country Quartet Brings Old-Fashioned Harmonies To ‘When You Say Nothing At All’ Cover

4th and Main

If you’ve ever wondered what would happen if one were to mash-up the Oak Ridge Boys, Rascal Flatts, The Statler Brothers and a little bit of old-fashioned gospel quartet, you need not wonder any longer.

Award winning producer Wayne Haun took the guesswork out of the equation for you when he brought together four incredibly talented guys from all over the country to form a new country quartet, 4th and Main. Hailing from Indiana, Texas, and Kentucky, respectively, Chris Chavez, Randy Austin, Blake Whitlock and Chase McDaniel bring a fresh sound to country music while maintaining the integrity of the harmonies that have set apart some of the genre’s greatest groups.

Don’t let 4th and Main‘s boy band look fool you. These guys are old souls with a heart for country music.

“With influences ranging from The Oak Ridge Boys, Keith Whitley, Rascal Flatts and Garth Brooks to Tim McGraw and Keith Urban, 4th and Main offers a rich sound that is both powerful and intricate. Whether singing around an acoustic guitar or entering a stage with a full band, the group possesses a versatility that combines classic harmonies with today’s revered vocal stylings,” their website reads.

Three days ago (February 1), the group released their first cover tune, an incomparable cover of the Keith Whitley classic “When You Say Nothing At All.” The stripped down performance shows off the group’s flawless harmonies and leaves us thirsty for more. While “When You Say Nothing At All” is currently the only tune available from the group, more music will be released soon.
