NASCAR legend Mike Wallace and his daughter were attacked after leaving a Rascal Flatts concert Friday night (June 17) in Charlotte. According to Wallace, he was talking to three men, Paul Lucas, 29, Nathan Lucas, 22, and Randolph Mangum, 24. He asked them how they liked the concert when Nathan Lucas became agitated and came after him.

According to court records, the younger Lucas was charged with misdemeanor assault for striking Wallace in the face with a closed fist, knocking him unconscious.

The elder Lucas was charged with misdemeanor assault on a female for kicking Wallace's daughter, Lindsey, in the ribs, left arm, and leg as she tried to shield her father after he fell to the ground.

Magnum was charged with misdemeanor assault for striking Wallace's son-in-law, Lindsey's husband, with his feet and hands.

All three men will appear in court on July 22nd.

On Tuesday, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police released audio tapes of three of the 911 calls from Friday night's incident including one call in which a person says "there's blood everywhere!"

At least one of the men who attacked the Wallaces were employed by Lucas Lawn & Landscaping who did contract work for PNC Music Pavillion where Friday's concert was held. PNC issued a statement saying that it terminated it's services with Lucas Lawn & Landscaping.

“We were saddened by the regrettable events that took place on Friday, June 17.  Upon learning that the offensive actions were taken by patrons who also happened to be employed by Lucas Landscaping, one of our service providers, we took swift and immediate action to terminate services provided by Lucas Landscaping at PNC Music Pavilion.”

The landscaping company issued a statement through their attorney in which they say they have been unfairly treated by the public and that “(Mike) Wallace and his supporters intend to have this matter resolved in the court of public opinion.’’

Mike Wallace spoke to media for the first time since the attack and described in horrific detail exactly what he remembers from the incident. Watch one of Wallace's interviews in the video below.
