When the race to be the Republican nominee for President began, there were 18 or so candidates who threw their names in the ring.
Over time, the number of candidates dwindled down, and now only one name is left on the ballot - Trump's.
Since he became the Republican Party's presumptive nominee, many Trump naysayers are now putting their support behind him, including the Duck Commander himself.
Of his change of heart in candidates, Phil said, "We have to be loyal to the party."
While Trump now has his support, that doesn't mean Phil won't stop trying to spread the word of God, especially to the Celebrity Apprentice host.
Phil has previously stated in an interview with Fox & Friends that he would like to be on of Trump's advisor's - his spiritual advisor. It's very important to Phil that we have a "Jesus man" in the White House, and he thinks he can help with that.
"I'll make a valiant attempt behind the scenes ... to sit down with Donald with a Bible in between us," Robertson said.
In a recent interview with Gordon James Klingenschmitt, a Colorado State Representative and former Navy Chaplain, Phil reveals he thinks he wants to convert Trump and have him become a Born Again Christian.
"I’ve requested, sent multiple people to him, and they all laughed when I said it, but the ultimate, for America, would be we convert Trump," he said. "I can see it now, Donald Trump and his cabinet, and there’s ol’ Newt or one of those guys that get in there, or Sessions, and the camera keeps panning over and they get to me and they say “This man is his spiritual adviser.”
Even as he said those words, he was laughed at.
Trump has yet to respond to Phil and he never got a response from Trump, but he will not stop trying.
