Sadie Robertson Admits She Did WHAT To John Luke?! You Won’t Believe This!

As adults, Sadie Robertson and her brother John Luke are as thick as thieves, but it hasn’t always been that way.

Apparently, when they were younger, they absolutely hated each other! It got so bad that Sadie says after one incident, they “didn’t talk for a year”.

In a video posted to her YouTube channel, they talk about that incident, and can now laugh about it.

“I punched John Luke in the face at church!” Sadie admits.

“For singing off-key! Which I can’t help because I don’t even know where the key is,” John Luke interrupted.

John Luke reveals that they both got a spanking because of that incident, John Luke didn’t want to talk to her for a long time.

Once he finally got over being punched in the face by his little sister, there was a turning point in their relationship.

“In middle school, this girl was being really mean to me and I was just going through a really hard time,” Sadie says. “John Luke had enough of it. He was tired of hearing me talk about it and tired of seeing me upset and he goes up to this girl and he’s like ‘Look, if you don’t have anything nice to say to my sister, then don’t talk to her.'”

That was the moment they went from fighting 24/7 to a point where they relied on each other and realized their newfound bond is one to base others on.

“Treat every girl like you’re supposed to treat your sister,” John Luke says. With love.

Sadie goes on to tell a story where she’s thankful of their closeness. One night earlier, she discovered a black bird under her bed and John Luke came to save the day. You can watch that experience here.
